ILandellsGraduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical School in 1988, followed by two years Family Practice in St. John’s, then one year of Paediatric Medicine at the Janeway Child Health Centre in St. John’s, NL. Graduated from the University of British Columbia – Dermatology in 1995 and went on to do a fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology at Northwestern University and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Presently Clinical Assistant Professor, Disciplines of Medicine and Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is Attending Physician with the Health Care Corporation of St. John’s, and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, as well as a Consultant with the Health Labrador Corporation. Medical Director, Dermatology, Nexus Clinical Research. For the past nine years practicing Adult, Paediatric and Cosmetic Dermatology, as well as Cutaneous Laser Surgery. A member of and previous Secretary of the Canadian Dermatology Association and Canadian Cancer Society – Newfoundland and Labrador Division, and a Past President of the Atlantic Provinces Dermatology Association. Also a member of the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Dermatology, The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, and Dermatology Times of Canada. Ongoing interviews for quoted published articles on Skin Health and Dermatology in the following magazines and newspapers: The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Today’s Parent, Chatelaine, Flare, Canadian Living, Reader’s Digest, Glow, Elevate and others. Also live interviews on radio on television: CBC-am, VOCM-am, CBC News World, Country Canada, CBC TV Newfoundland, and CTV.
